Bubba Watson won the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, USA on 16 February 2014. This is his   first title since 2012 Masters where he won the 6.7 million US dollar and fifth US PGA Tour title.
Watson played the final 39 holes without a bogey and shot a 7-under 64 to win the Northern Trust Open. His 15-under total of 269 gave him a two-stroke victory over eight-time US PGA Tour winner Dustin Johnson. Johnson closed with a five-under par 66 at Riviera Country Club for 271.
Jason Allred had three birdies in his three- under 68 for a share of third place on 272. Brian Harman closed with a 68 at fourth place and South African Charl Schwartzel was at fifth place after a 68 for 273.
About Northern Trust Open
• In 1889, Northern Trust’s partnership with the tournament established The Rivera Country Club. The annual site of the Northern Trust Open was opened for play in 1927.
• In 2013 John Merrick won the tournament and was the first winner from Los Angeles.
