New Zealand won two-Cricket Test series against India 1-0



New Zealand on 18 February 2014 won the two match Test Series against India 1-0 as the second match played in Wellington ended in a draw. Brendon McCullum, the skipper of the team of New Zealand in the second test match created a history by becoming first Kiwi player to score triple hundred. He scored 302 runs in the second innings.

2nd Inning: 680 for 8 wickets 

India batting second scored
1st Inning: 438 
2nd Inning: 166 for 3 at stumps on the final day

• McCullum was adjudged man of the match of the second test 

India ended this tour to New Zealand winless as earlier, India lost the five matches ODI series 0-4 with one tie and in the 2 matches test series it lost the first match with 40-run played at Auckland. and tied the second one. 

Now India is scheduled to play Asia Cup in Bangladesh that starts on 25 February 2014. India’s first match of Asia Cup will be held on 26 February 2014 against the hosts.
